Georgina Armfield

Georgina is an actor and ICF accredited executive coach. She has three years experience coaching clients from both the public and private sector.

As an actor, she has performed in shows from London’s West End to Brussels, most recently on TV in SKY’s Jack the Ripper.

Georgina graduated from Durham University with a first in English Literature before training as an actor at Mountview.

Stephanie Connell

Stephanie trained as a ballerina before discovering that dancing and skiing do not mix. After breaking her leg, she redirected her focus to acting.

She later emigrated to Australia, training as a computer systems analyst with Coles Myer while continuing to pursue her acting career, and went on to work in PR and Marketing with Westfield.

Returning to London in 1996, Stephanie re-established herself as an actress while working as Assistant Bursar at Hornsby House School.

Alongside her acting, she trained as a corporate role-player, working with Saïd Business School for Acting for Change. She has been a medical role-player since 2006, collaborating with training directors to support medical students and doctors in developing effective communication with patients, relatives and colleagues across complex scenarios.

Her recent credits include touring with National Theatre/Theatr Clwyd/Bill Kenwright’s production of Home, I’m Darling, and appeared in Paris Zarcilla’s Raging Grace.

She is also a web designer, agent and playwright.

Rebecca Hunt

Rebecca has worked for AfC for nearly 17 years, loving every minute! As a Facilitator and Communications Coach she has worked extensively in the UK and internationally. Clients include Saïd Business School, Vodafone, Taylor & Francis Publishing, Kraft Heinz and Pentax.

Rebecca also delivers training for groups and schools in both the private and public sectors. She works extensively with the NHS, training future doctors and dentists on their communication skills, delivering a broad range of programmes including Breaking Bad News, Diversity, Micro Aggressions, and specialising in psychiatry. Her expertise also encompasses preparing Barristers and Solicitors for Cross Examination and Examination-in-Chief.

Rebecca also worked as the Theatre Management at The Strand Theatre in London’s West End. Having trained at Central School Of Speech And Drama, Rebecca continues to perform as an Actor and Voice Artist in Theatre, Film, TV, Presenting, Commercials and Audio. Notable credits include Kenneth Branagh’s Magic Flute, Werther (Royal Opera House), EastEnders, The Bill, the world premiere of Penetration (Cockpit Theatre), together with numerous other short films and plays. When she’s not acting, she can be found in her Voice Over Studio, cunningly disguised as her cupboard under the stairs!

Dan March

Dan has been a consultant since 2010, facilitating communications and leadership development training for senior management in scores of blue-chip organisations. He has designed and delivered training for Senior Leaders in the Retail industry in Beirut, facilitated workshops for MBA students at LBS, Bayes & Judge Business schools.

After reading Modern Languages at Oxford University, Dan worked in business development roles initially in publishing, then telecommunications and ultimately rising to become a Sales Director in the oil and gas industry. He is also a trained, professional actor with a huge bank of acting experience across TV, radio and advertising. Alongside this, he has twenty years of live comedy experience as a stand-up doing live and recorded shows. He draws on his improvisation background to help others think on their feet, manage themselves with confidence and communicate with impact.

With a reputation for warmth, passion and challenge, Dan works with all levels of seniority and across a wide variety of sectors. The link for him is the human one: everyone is scared of failing and some are scared of success. Dan helps his participants to learn relevant tools and techniques that deal with the practical and emotional aspects of leadership.

Richard Matthews

Richard has worked with Acting for Change for fifteen years. He’s facilitated programmes with Commerzbank, Taylor & Francis and A.T.Kearney, and worked as a role-player with both Rolls Royce and Saudi Aramco.

With a degree in German, Richard has a corporate background in sales management in the consumer goods sector, working closely with both Tesco and Sainsbury in the UK. He is also a professional actor, having worked on stage, radio and film.

The unique approach he brings to both workshop facilitation and corporate role-play is the personal experience of having presented at a high level, managed teams and handled difficult workplace conversations, together with the knowledge of how techniques from the theatre can unlock and transform corporate communication.

Bhavnisha Parmar

Bhavnisha’s studied theatre and performance at Leeds University and then trained as a professional actor at Arts Educational drama school.

Bhavnisha has worked in the corporate sector for PWC, ACCA Global and educational institutions in Germany and Italy. She regularly presents for ‘Smile-On Health Care’ and role-plays with the CSA. Bhavnisha has also performed in a variety of voice over roles; from Macmillan Cancer commercials, and original UK animations through to working with new authors at ACX.

She played Sonya Khan in Doctor Who. Her theatre credits include Silent On The Matter (Oxford), Little Baby Jesus (The Albany), Improv Noir (London Tour, Camden) and Constellations (The Tabard).

Angela Reynolds

Angela is a professional actor with over 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry. Trained as an actor, Angela has explored and developed her passion for interactive theatre, working for various companies including BBC Worldwide and CBeebies Live! Directing, performing and touring the UK and Australia.

Angela has worked in corporate training for over 15 years and across different business sectors. Using her coaching, improvising, storytelling, voice and physical skills to challenge and develop her clients.

Angela has an MA in Acting from East15 Drama School, is a Certified NLP Practitioner and recently completed the Royal Shakespeare Company’s Advanced Teacher Training Certificate to further understand how to bring storytelling into the workshop environment using the RSC’s rehearsal room techniques.

Fanos Xenofos

Fanos is a seasoned communications coach with 20 years experience guiding individuals and organizations to reach their full potential. He’s worked with many notable clients both in the UK and internationally. Recently, he became a faculty member at one the leading professional service companies where he facilitates a course on negotiation skills for senior managers. Fanos truly enjoys his work and the diversity of experiences his participants and coachees bring. He thrives on helping others enhance their performance to achieve their personal and professional goals.

Fanos is also an actor and voiceover artist. After training at ALRA, he has enjoyed playing a variety of roles in theatre, TV and video games, from West End productions to national and international tours, earning him a nomination for an Off West End award for best supporting actor. Before venturing into acting and coaching, he studied Aerospace Engineering and worked in airline flight operations for Britannia Airways, TUI and easyJet. He has also worked in cruise travel sales and customer relations helping him develop strong communication skills.

In addition to his engineering degree Fanos holds a master’s degree in voice from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and is currently studying to become an EMCC accredited executive coach, further enhancing his coaching expertise.

About David

David’s career began in financial services. At the age of thirty he returned to full-time education to study acting which, in turn, led him to directing. He still works as a theatre director which is a perfect complement to his work as a communications coach.

David has been a member of faculty at Oxford Saïd Business School for fifteen years, a speaker coach to c-suite clients for over ten years and a Leadership Communication Coach for three.

David has a degree in Divinity from the University of St Andrews and a Post Graduate Certificate in Professional Acting from the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts.

When not working he divides his time between the family, walking the dog and cycling.
