David Trevaskis
Director

David_tDavid Trevaskis is the Managing Director of Acting for Change. He specialises in improving individuals’ performance in the workplace, by enabling them to shape the conversations they need to have.

Because organisational success is built on individual performance, it’s essential that we all have the communication skills we need to succeed. What does this mean? David develops your listening and speaking skills so you find your authentic voice and are able to give others the space to have theirs. The result is that your message resonates with your audience, whether that’s one-to-one or one-to-many.

David cares deeply about his work – your message. He combines his skills as an actor and director with his knowledge of the corporate world to offer a unique insight into human communication. His style is energetic, upbeat and enthusiastic. He guarantees everyone will be engaged, involved and challenged in his sessions.

David has a degree in Divinity from the University of St Andrews and a postgraduate Qualification in Professional Acting from the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts (ALRA). He also has ten years commercial experience working for Bupa before joining Acting for Change in 2008.

Carolyn is a professional actress, playwright and facilitator, who also has over 25 years experience as a management consultant working in both public and private sectors. Adam Wilkinson
Partner

adam_wAdam works with Acting for Change in two ways. In the first instance, he delivers unique and engaging workshops on the fundamentals of accounting and finance. In the second, he’s a key member of our Management team, providing the sort of financial wisdom one only gets with 20 years industry experience.

Using the patented Colour Accounting system that presents financial information visually, Adam explains the structure, mechanics and language of finance in a way that is easy to understand. These interactive training sessions improve communication and decision-making by giving people the financial literacy they need to succeed in the workplace.

Adam graduated from the University of St Andrews in 1996, and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1999. He has worked extensively in the Media and Technology industries in a variety of organisations ranging from start-ups to FTSE 100 PLCs. Adam has held 5 different Finance Director roles and brings this wealth of expertise to Acting for Change and our clients.

taylor and francisThe best bit of working with David is that he is so generous with his ideas, energy and material – he’s very focussed on building something that we need rather than just ‘off the shelf’ material. David is passionate and engaged in the quest to help people develop and that is what shines through all of his work. He has a wonderful ability to connect and has a truly motivating and inspiring impact. I would say to others that they should work with David because he is a man of real integrity with a huge drive and commitment to always deliver his best.”
